With & For You…

I am a husband, a dad to three amazing girls, and I currently call Charlotte, NC, home. My deepest passion is creating sacred, safe spaces for people to explore, mourn, and rejoice, ultimately awakening a lasting hope through connection with the Triune God and trusted companions.

I consider it a profound privilege to attune to others, bearing witness to their experiences and walking alongside them toward hope. My own journey has been shaped by seasons of both blessing and hardship. I have known loss, betrayal, and abandonment, but I have also experienced the immense healing that comes from being truly seen, welcomed, known, and loved. Every part of that story has been written into who I am today.

For over 15 years, I have served as a pastor with a distinct heart for counseling and care. To deepen that work, I completed two years of Narrative Focused Trauma Care (Levels 1 and 2) through the Allender Center at the Seattle School. I also hold an MDiv from Reformed Theological Seminary and a BS in Marketing from Bloomsburg University. Prior to—and even between—my seasons in ministry, I spent several years working in the life insurance industry. While my background is varied, every step has encouraged my desire to enter into people’s lives with genuine curiosity, kindness, presence, and care. I look forward to walking with you.

Get to know me: Speed Round

I enjoy hiking and this picture was taken at the top of one of them.

I enjoy reading biographies and learning about people’s stories. Unbroken was a great read.

When I fly I really like to have the aisle because of my height so I can stretch out a little.

I prefer dogs and have a Shih Tzu-Bichon mix.

I enjoy my sweets and have to watch the size of my ice cream portions but I love my Breyer’s vanilla with toppings.

I enjoy playing guitar and I once met B.B. King.

I am really scared of heights and squirmed in my seat as I watched Free Solo.
